18V ONE+ 82mm Planer Tool Only

The RYOBI 18V ONE+ 82mm Planer gradually shaves off layers to create flat surfaces on timber workpieces. It can transform sharp corners into angled surfaces (chamfers), refining the look of tabletops, shelves and moulding/trim. This tool can also cut deep grooves/notches (rebates) to prepare workpieces for joinery.

Quick passes with the Planer removes thin layers from hinged doors or window panels, ensuring they close smoothly. For the more serious woodworker, this Planer can be used to revive the natural look of rough timber slabs. It shaves off surface layers to eliminate uneven spots and expose more vibrant colours underneath.

Precise adjustments
The depth adjustment knob ensures precise changes in 0.1mm increments. It allows you to gradually achieve precise results when planing surfaces.

Clean and consistent rebates
Attach the rebate guide (fence) to start creating clean rebates with a uniform width along the straight edge of workpieces. Adjust the knob to set the rebate width to a maximum of 82mm.
Use the three V-grooves on the base plate to keep the Planer on a consistent angle to produce clean chamfers on workpiece edges. Each groove produces chamfers with a different depth.

Flexible debris management
Dual chip exhausts and an exhaust selector allow wood chips to be ejected either left or right. Use the included dust bag to collect wood chips or connect to a workshop vac with the included dust port adaptor.

Surface and blade protection
A rear kickstand on the base plate prevents accidental damage to the blades and work surfaces when the planer is not in use.

Durable aluminium base
The lightweight aluminium base provides enhanced durability. It remains flat under pressure, supporting a smooth gliding motion with the Planer without dipping or rocking.

Safe starts
A trigger lock-out button prevents accidental startups, supporting safer operation.
